Our Fluid Bed Concentrator (FBC), as supplied by our expert partners, and integrated by Nacah Tech with a Thermal Oxidizer, is a proven, high-performance solution for treating large volumes of process air containing low-concentration Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).
How It Works
The system operates in two highly effective stages:
- Fluid Bed Concentrator: Low concentration VOC-laden air passes through a fluidized bed of adsorbent media (our special bead activated carbon). The contaminants are captured and desorbed into a much smaller, high-concentration air stream.
- Thermal Oxidizer: The desorbed high concentrated VOC gas stream is then directed into the Direct Fired thermal oxidizer, where the VOC’s are destroyed at high temperatures (typically 1,400–1,600°F), converting the pollutants into harmless carbon dioxide and water vapor at a very high rate.
The clean exhaust is safely released into the atmosphere, to fully meet regulatory compliance.
